Gambler's Choice

One of Lucky Hayden's rare non-western films, "Gambler's Choice" is an engaing look at gambling in the 1940s. Chester Morris stars as the tricky and clever villain who, in spite of attending a correctional school, grows up to be a sly devil. Tricking everyone in his path to get what he wants, Morris end up betraying the trust of his best friends (Hayden, Nancy Kelly). He wins it all, but the price is very high.
